The 2020 Restaurant Week in Williamsburg will be January 21-31. Dozens of restaurants are participating with lunch and dinner specials and new this year will be breakfast specials. Support your local restaurateurs!
Ready to Get Your Real ID?
Friday, January 24th to Wednesday, September 30th at DMV Customer Service Center: 5235 John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg, VA 23185 Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Beginning October 1, 2020 all airline passengers must present identification with their boarding passes that meets new federal security standards. In most cases, that will mean presenting a Virginia DMV-issued Real ID driver's license. To obtain a Real ID, you must appear in person at the Virginia DMV. Red Cross Blood Drive
Friday, January 24th to Tuesday, February 11th at various
The American Red Cross is asking for blood donations to help restock its shelves this winter. Type O is of special need. You can make an appointment using the Red Cross Donor App or at 800-733-2767. Local donation sites and times are found here.
JCC County Conversations Program
Tuesday, February 18th, 5:30pm at Legacy Hall, 4301 New Town Avenue
Community Conversations is a new series of informal conversations with James City County residents about their local government. This is an opportunity to stay in the know about what’s happening with your local government, and be able to talk with County staff and elected officials in an informal setting. The February kickoff event will be hosted by County Administrator Scott Stevens. We will be discussing recycling, upcoming election changes, Census 2020, the 2035 Comprehensive Plan update process and more.
