An Occasion For The Arts provides Williamsburg is the area’s premier art and music festival. This 56th Annual event draws artist vendors in multiple mediums from around the country, features local musicians, a Youth Art show, and a food court. Something for everyone!

James City County is holding a public meeting on October 10 to discuss public school operations. Gaston Educational Consulting, LLC will give an overview of their study examining the potential effects of splitting Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools operations. The meeting will include Q&A and opportunities for public input. Registration is encouraged but not required.

JCC Police are hosting their fourth annual Halloween with Heroes on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the Law Enforcement Center near Warhill High School. It is open to children of all ages in a safe and fun environment for trick-or-treating alongside our local public safety heroes. Additionally, a Sensory-Friendly hour from 5:00pm - 6:00pm will provide a more comfortable and accessible opportunity for children with unique needs and preferences to enjoy Halloween festivities before the main event begins. Costumes are encouraged for all!
