James City County says this year's Christmas tree disposal will be Jan. 2-Feb. 4. Trees may be dropped off at any of the County’s Convenience Centers free of charge between 7:00am and 5:00pm daily. Please be sure to remove all tinsel, ornaments, lights and stands. Trees will be mulched or composted. Find a location here.
